UVA’s Class of 2017 Future Pursuits – After I graduate, I’m going to be headed to Columbia Law School where I plan to pursue civil rights and criminal justice reform. I will enter the Navy Nurse Corps and serve as a nurse at Naval Medical Center, San Diego.

I will be attending the UVA School of Medicine where I’ll be entering the Generalist Scholars Program to pursue a career in primary care and medicine. I will be pursuing a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering designing next generation space suits.

I will be pursuing a master’s of sustainability management at American University. I will be working at an energy tech start-up that I co-founded, Project Pentagon. I will be commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. And I’m going to be working as a cardiology
assistant for St. Jude Medical in southern New Jersey.

And I plan on going to law school after graduation. I will be teaching in Casablanca, Morocco next year. I’ve decided to move to Israel next year and do a fellowship about dance and art and creativity to understand racial justice and queer issues in Israel.

I plan on doing software engineering at teacher’s pay teacher’s in New York. Next year I’ll be joining the Advisory Board Company up in Washington D.C. doing healthcare and education consulting and marketing. I’m going to take a gap year as a ski instructor before pursuing a graduate degree in economics.

I’ll be working as a technical program manager at Google on the Google Cloud platform team. I will be working at IIC research on issues of human security and then after that I’ll be working for the federal government. I’m going to medical school with an interest in primary care in underserved community as well as doing research in how minority populations interact with the healthcare system.

I will be moving to Atlanta to work as an associate consultant at Bain & Company. I plan to pursue a master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Planning here at UVA. I will be working for Capital One in their human resources rotation program. I will be starting at Deloitte Consulting doing strategy and operations in San Francisco.

I’m going to be working at mayo clinic in Rochester Minnesota as an oncology nurse. I’ll be joining Applied Predictive Technologies in Washington, D.C. doing business consulting. I willl be taking a gap year at the National Institute of Health before I enter into Medicial School.

This September, I’ll be moving to New Delhi to work with a women’s health NGO. I’m really looking forward to joining Teach for America in New Orleans, Louisiana. I’m going to be an Application Engineer at Slack. I’m going to be a pediatric ICU nurse. I’m taking a year off before moving to New York to attend school at Columbia University.

I will go to the School of Visual Arts in New York City and I will be studying product design. After graduation, I will be moving to Mexico City to work consulting at McKinsey & Company.
